The Cougar Yearbook

The Cougar Yearbook

Student Photos and Senior Portraits

Attention Senior Parents:

The official senior photographer for The Cougar Yearbook is Cady. They will be opening a new studio Summer 2023, and we encourage all seniors to go online here and sign up for a session. There is a $10 sitting fee, which will apply to any packages you order.

The official Senior photo for the Yearbook is the Tux/Drape photo. Those who will be wearing a tux for the photo can wear a t-shirt to the appointment, while those posing in the evening gown – or drape – will need to wear a sleeveless shirt with thin straps. The basic sitting will also include cap & gown photos, but those are not used by yearbook.

The studio will have NHS bibs for those who need them.

While at the studio, students can do a variety of other senior pictures. Parents are NOT required to use Cady for any senior pictures other than their Yearbook shot, and there are several excellent professional photographers in the area that can assist you.

Cady will also offer several on-campus sessions in the fall for those who cannot make it to the studio.

The deadline for all senior photos – in the studio or on campus – is Nov. 15.

For all underclassmen:

Freshman, sophomore and junior students will have their photos taken on campus by Cady. These photos will be used next year for your ID photos, as well as in this year’s yearbook. There is a make-up day if you miss the first round of photos.

If students miss both on-campus opportunities they will not be in the yearbook and will also need to have a photo ID done on campus.

Group and club photos:

The group photos that are in the yearbook are submitted by the sponsor orĀ  coach of the team/club. The yearbook does arrange for a professional photographer to come three times per school year to do group photos, for those who want to use them. If the coach or sponsor does not submit a photo or sign up for a club photo day, the group photo cannot be in the yearbook.

Rosters for all group photos come from the sponsor or coach, and the yearbook staff is not responsible if a name is left out of a roster.

Throughout the year, members of the yearbook staff will remind all coaches and teachers to sign up for the group photos or submit photos taken by an outside photographer.
